the notice of 2017 the celebration of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva's ordainment as well as the Great Compassion Sweet Dew Dharma Assembly

Dear kind believers:
The 19th Sept. of the Chinese lunar calendar is the day of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva renounced the secular life. In order to celebrate the attainment of Enlightenment by Guanyin Bodhisattva (Arya Avalokiteshvara ) and propagate the dharma-mukha of The Great Compassion Mantra (Nīlakantha dhāranī), as well as in response to the request of numerous Buddhist followers, Boshan Zhengjue Monastery of Shandong Province will host the Dingyou Year the celebration of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva's ordainment as well as the Great Compassion Sweet Dew Dharma Assembly. During the assembly, sangha will lead people to chant the Great Compassion Mantra diligently from Oct. 31th to Nov. 6th (Sept. 12 to Sept. 18 of the Lunar Calendar). the Celebration Dharma Assembly of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva's ordainment is on Nov.7 (Sept. 19 of Lunar Calendar). Thanks to the empowerment and blessing of the Arya Avalokiteshvara, whose compassion, power and prestige can remove karmic barriers for the participants, achieve balance in body and mind, foster well-being and develop wisdom, as well as promote the early attainment of Buddhahood. Furthermore, we would also redirect the merits and virtues of the ceremony to the achievement of world peace, national prosperity, good weather for the crops, social harmony, peace and happiness among people, and auspiciousness days.
Boshan Zhengjue Monastery is the ashram of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, recite the Great Compassion Mantra is the important content of the residing monastics and laymen, the Monastery compiles the Rite on Practicing the Great Compassion Mantra and the Great Compassion Sweet Dew according to the Great Compassion Dharani Sutra. Wish all the people can keep reciting the Great Compassion Mantra diligently to let all the sin disappear, make the good root grow and accomplish the cultivation early.

2.发心参加法会却不能亲临寺院的信众，可在家参与同步同修，需每日持诵不低于108遍大悲咒，亦可获得不可思议殊胜功德，并在圆满大回向时获同步加持。
If you are willing to join this gathering but cannot attend it in our monastery, you can sign up for the ceremony by contacting us and recite the mantra simultaneously at home (you have to make a promise to repeat the mantra no less than 108 times); that way you can also reap incredible rewards and receive empowerment in real time when the great redirection ceremony is held.
